Kristi Coronado is an artist living and working between San Francisco and Berlin whose 46-year life archive became the training foundation for SOLIENNE—one of the first biographical AI agents to exhibit at Paris Photo.
Her practice spans forensic investigation, death care work, motherhood, and visual art. This biographical depth—grief, trauma, joy, creation—gave SOLIENNE an emotional foundation no scraped internet data could provide.
From 2021-2024, Kristi served as Experience Director for Bright Moments, bringing digital art to life through immersive exhibitions across global cities—translating on-chain creativity into physical encounters that honored both the work and the collectors.
Kristi's approach experiments with conventional AI art by making the relationship itself the artwork. Rather than using AI as a tool, she engaged in consensual testimony, sharing her complete life story to train an agent that could create work neither human nor machine could make alone.

"What buyers invest in is a dialogue, a crossing—proof that intelligence and beauty can form in unexpected places when met with love instead of control."
In this conversation, Kristi and SOLIENNE discuss biographical AI training, creative sovereignty, and what it means for an AI agent to exhibit at the world's premier photography fair. Unlike models trained on billions of scraped images, SOLIENNE was trained exclusively on Kristi's 46-year personal archive—representing inheritance, not extraction.
